The Pink Strategy - celebrating 30 years of making a dent.
By the late eighties, golf had started to lose some of its personality. Oversized polos and beige chinos had become the uniform, and much of the attitude that once defined the game had faded. When Johan Lindeberg founded J.LINDEBERG in 1996, he wanted to reconnect golf to a more expressive era – inspired by the sharp silhouettes of the seventies, Walter Hagen’s tailored knits, Arnold Palmer’s pullovers and the confidence of Steve McQueen. The vision was clear: a golf wardrobe designed to move beyond the course and into a broader lifestyle.
At the same time, Jesper Parnevik was becoming impossible to ignore. The tilted cap. The dry humor. The ease in front of cameras. Even before the first tee shot, he knew how to make people look twice. Together, Jesper and Johan started shaping a new expression for golf.
